In Part 2, you complete notes from a longer monologue. The missing words are usually specific nouns, adjectives or short noun phrases. You need to listen for meaning, not only for isolated words.

  • Before listening: predict the type of word needed: noun, adjective, place, object or feeling.
  • First listening: follow the order of the notes and write what you hear.
  • Second listening: check spelling, singular/plural forms and whether an optional adjective is needed.
